This page links to the logs of our motorhome adventures the past few years. The map at the bottom shows the GPS tracks for everywhere we've driven the motor home.
We started the new year at the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, something we've long wanted to see. During the year, we took two cruises, one to Mexico, the other to Alaska. We drove
the motorhome almost 8,000 miles around the Western US, and ended the year almost where we started, in Southern California. We celebrated the new year at 1000 Trails Orlando FL, before wandering about the Sunshine State for the winter. As the weather warmed, we spent time in New England and the midwest before trekking cross-country,
back to Oregon. By years' end, we'd gone over 10,500 miles and found ourselves in the parking lot of Santa Anita Race Track near Pasadena CA, awaiting the 2009 Rose Parade. Quite a year. In March, we moved out of our stick house in Reedsport, Oregon and into our 32ft Rexhall Aerbus
motorhome, beginning our life as full-time vagabonds. About 7,500 miles
later, we ended the year outside Orlando, Florida.
In April, we set out on a summer-long trip in our new (to us) motorhome, intending to visit places we'd heard
about and people we hadn't seen for a while. We came home in
late July, 7,600+ miles later.
